Advantage of Dispersant NNO

Excellent dispersibility:

The dispersant NNO can quickly disperse the particles into the liquid to form a uniform dispersion system.

Good stability:

The dispersant NNO can improve the stability of the particles and prevent the particles from re-aggregating.

Dispersant NNO CAS 9084-06-4

Good wettability:

The dispersant NNO can effectively reduce the surface tension of the particles, making the particles easier to wet.

Low foaming:

After the dispersant NNO is dissolved in water, the foam is less and it is not easy to generate air bubbles.

Conditions of Use

(1) The dispersing agent NNO is used as a dispersing and reducing agent for dispersing and reducing dyes. When the fineness of disperse or reducing dye particles is processed, the dispersant N and the dye can be added to the grinder and sand mill together with the dye. The amount of diffusing agent N is 0.5-3 times of vat dyes or 1.5-2 times of disperse dyes, some of which can be left as fillers when the dyes are commercialized;

(2) Dispersing agent NNO is used as vat dyeing: County floating body padding method: in padding bath, diffusing agent N3-5 g/l is generally added, and diffusing agent N15-20 g/l is generally added in reducing bath; Leuco acid method: Yixiu diffusing agent N dosage is 2-3g/l

(3) Dispersing agent NNO is used for dyeing with disperse dyes: When polyester is dyed at high temperature and high pressure, generally 0.5-1.5 g/L, diffusing agent N can be added to the dyeing bath;

(4) Dispersing agent NNO is used for dyeing with ice dyes: To improve level dyeing and rubbing fastness, the amount of chromogen primer bath diffusing agent is generally 2-5 grams/liter, and the color bath diffusing agent N dosage is generally 0.5-2 grams/liter.

Applications of Dispersing Agent NNO

Dye industry. Dispersant NNO can be used as a dispersant for disperse dyes, vat dyes, reactive dyes and acid dyes, significantly improving the dispersibility and abrasiveness of dyes. By evenly dispersing dye particles, it can help dyes better penetrate into the fiber, improve dyeing effects and color fastness, and reduce dye waste and environmental pollution.

Textile printing and dyeing. In the field of textile printing and dyeing, NNO can improve the uniformity and stability of printing and dyeing slurry, improve printing clarity and color vividness. In addition, it can also reduce problems such as color spots and stains in the printing and dyeing process, and improve product quality and production efficiency.

Construction industry. NNO can be used as a water reducer and early strength agent. Adding dispersant NNO to cement can make cement have a good dispersion effect after impact, enhance cement strength, shorten construction period, and save cement and water. It can improve the tensile strength, impermeability, antifreeze resistance, and compressive modulus of mixed soil.

Paints and pigments. In the manufacture of paints and pigments, dispersing agent NNO can improve the dispersibility of pigments and fillers, making paints and pigments more uniform and delicate. This helps improve the covering power and adhesion of the coating, and enhances the color saturation and durability of the pigment.

Agricultural field. In pesticide formulations, dispersant NNO can help the active ingredients of pesticides to be evenly dispersed in water, improving the suspension and stability of pesticides. This helps pesticides to better adhere to the surface of crops, improve the prevention and control effect, and reduce the loss of pesticides and environmental pollution.

Other fields. In addition to the above fields, dispersant NNO is also widely used in papermaking, electroplating, water treatment, carbon black dispersion and other fields. It can improve the performance and quality of various industrial products and promote the development and progress of related industries.

Safety and Handling

Avoid Inhaling Dust:

Wear a mask if you're working with the powder in large amounts to avoid breathing it in.

Protect Your Skin and Eyes:

Gloves and goggles are a good idea to prevent irritation.

Safe Storage:

Store it in a dry, ventilated area to keep it effective and avoid moisture buildup.
If you're using it in large-scale operations, follow workplace safety guidelines to keep everyone safe.

FAQ

Q: What is a dispersing agent used for?

A: A dispersant or a dispersing agent is a substance, typically a surfactant, that is added to a suspension of solid or liquid particles in a liquid (such as a colloid or emulsion) to improve the separation of the particles and to prevent their settling or clumping.

Q: What is the composition of a dispersant?

A: A dispersant composition suitable for dispersing crude oil or petroleum products floating on the surface of water comprises a combination of a selected non-ionic surfactant and an anionic surfactant in a suitable solvent. The non-ionic surfactant is an ester of a polyalkoxylated sorbitol or sorbitan and a fatty acid.

Q: What is one problem with using dispersants?

A: Both dispersants and dispersed oil particles are toxic to some marine organisms. But because concentrations of dispersed oil are quickly diluted in the ocean, organisms are likely to be exposed only for short time periods.

Q: How to choose dispersant?

A: Here are some key questions to ask when choosing a dispersant: Nature of Particles – What are the characteristics of the particles to be dispersed Consider factors such as particle size, surface charge and composition.

Q: How to test dispersion?

A: A known amount of powder is placed on a water surface under defined conditions. The time required for the powder to disappear beneath the surface of the water while stirring without solid particles being present is called the dispersion time.

Q: What are the components of a dispersant?

A: Dispersants have two main components: a surfactant and a solvent. Surfactant molecules are made up of an oleophilic part (with an attraction to oil) and a hydrophilic part (with an attraction to water).
