The characteristics of polycarboxylate superplasticizer/PCE
The function of high range water reducing agent-Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer/PCE is to improve the working performance of fresh mortar and enhance the fluidity of mortar without reducing the amount of cement used.
- Under the condition of maintaining certain working performance, reduce the amount of cement and enhance the strength of the mortar.
- Under the condition of maintaining a certain strength, reduce the amount of cement used per unit volume of mortar to save cement.
- Improve the pumpability of mortar mixtures and other physical and mechanical properties of mortar.

The advantages of polycarboxylate superplasticizer/PCE
| 1. Low dosage but good dispersion performance; | 5. No formaldehyde is used in the synthesis process, thus causing no pollution to the environment. |
| 2. Good slump retention, with almost no loss of slump within 90 minutes. | 6. Good compatibility with cement and other types of admixtures; |
| 3. When compared under the same fluidity, it can delay the setting of cement. | 7. High range water reducing rate more than 30%. |
| 4. It has a high degree of freedom in molecular structure and a large number of controllable technical parameters in manufacturing technology, with great potential for high performance. | 8.By using polycarboxylate superplasticizers, more slag or fly ash can be used to replace cement, thereby reducing costs. |

Widely used types of water reducers: sLS, SNF, SMF,PCE
At present, the widely used types of water reducers are lignin water reducers, naphthalene-based Superplasticizer/SNF and melamine-based Superplasticizer/SMF, and polycarboxylate Superplasticizer/PCE. Their respective characteristics are as follows:
lignin-based water reducers:
Lignin-based water reducers include three types: calcium lignosulfonate (wood calcium), sodium lignosulfonate (wood sodium), and magnesium lignosulfonate (wood magnesium). The appropriate dosage is 0.2% to 0.3% of the cement mass.
Naphthalene-based high-efficiency water reducing agent/SNF:
Naphthalene-based high-efficiency water reducing agent/SNF: Due to its mature production process, stable raw material supply, large output and wide application, the coal tar-based water reducing agent usually mainly refers to the naphthalene-based water reducing agent. The appropriate dosage is 0.2% to 1.0% of the cement mass.
Melamine high-efficiency water reducing agent/SMF
Melamine high-efficiency water reducing agent/SMF: Melamine high-efficiency water reducing agent (commonly known as melamine water reducing agent), with the chemical name sulfonated melamine formaldehyde resin, is actually an anionic high-molecular surfactant, featuring non-toxicity and high efficiency. The appropriate dosage is 5% to 2.0% of the cement mass.
Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer/PCE
Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer/PCE: Polycarboxylic acid has developed into a new type of high-efficiency water reducing agent. It features high strength and excellent properties such as good heat resistance, durability and weather resistance. Its characteristics are that the slump loss is small at high temperatures, it has good fluidity, and there is no need to significantly increase the addition amount of water-reducing agent at lower temperatures. The appropriate dosage is 0.05% to 1.0% of the cement mass.
