What is NSF Superplasticizer Powder?
- Concrete water reducer refers to an admixture that has the functions of reducing water consumption and enhancing the workability of the concrete mixture while maintaining a certain degree of workability. It is also known as a "plasticizer". High-peformance/high range water reducers are called "superplasticizer".
- NSF Superplasticizer Powder, its chemical name is Sodium naphthalene sulphonate formaldehyde, which is chemically synthesized non-air-entraining superplasticizer. NSF Superplasticizer Powder is widely used in roads, bridges, dams, ports and docks, tunnels, electricity, water conservancy and civil engineering projects, steaming and natural preserving components.
The effects of SNF Sodium Naphthalene Sulphonate Superplasticizer water reducer
The surfactant is arranged directionally on the surface of the cement particles, causing the surface of the cement particles to carry the same charge. This repulsive force is much greater than the molecular attraction between the cement particles, causing the cement particles to disperse, releasing the water in the flocculent structure, and fully exerting the function of the mixing water. The fluidity of the mixture is significantly improved; The polar groups of the surfactant form a coordination bond with water molecules, causing a layer of solvated water film to form on the surface of the cement particles, preventing direct contact between the cement particles and playing a lubricating role, improving the fluidity of the mixture.
(1) SNF Sodium Naphthalene Sulphonate Superplasticizer reduces the water consumption of concrete mixture, enhances the strength of concrete. Under the condition that the slump of the concrete mixture is basically constant, the unit water consumption of concrete can be reduced by 5% to 25% (ordinary type 5% to 15%, high-efficiency type 10% to 30%).
(2) SNF Sodium Naphthalene Sulphonate Superplasticizer improves the fluidity of concrete mixture. Under the condition that the water consumption and strength are constant, the slump can be increased by 100 to 200 mm.
(3) SNF Sodium Naphthalene Sulphonate Superplasticizer saves cement. Under the condition that the slump and strength of the concrete mixture are constant, cement can be saved by 5% to 20%.
(4) SNF Sodium Naphthalene Sulphonate Superplasticizer improves the performance of concrete mixture. Adding water reducer can reduce the bleeding and segregation of the concrete mixture; delay the setting time of the mixture; slow down the heat release speed of cement hydration; significantly improve the impermeability and frost resistance of the hardened concrete.
