PCE Monomer PCE Powder Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer is a high-performance water reducer, a cement dispersant used in cement/ concrete; it is the third generation of high-performance water reducers developed after the first generation of ordinary water reducers represented by wood calcium and the second generation of high-efficiency water reducers represented by naphthalene and aliphatic.

Recommended dosage


The recommended dosage of water reducer for concrete is: 0.1~0.3% of the amount of cementitious material.

 

PCE Monomer PCE Powder Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer with polycarboxylate as the main component, with a solid content of about 98%. The normal dosage is 0.1%-0.3%. When the dosage is only 0.06%, it has a water reduction rate of 12% and a strength increase of 23%, which has exceeded the effect of ordinary pumping agents on the market. When the dosage is 0.1%, the performance exceeds the level of general and pyrimidine high-efficiency water reducers. However, when the dosage is less than 0.14%, the excellent performance of the working performance is not obvious. When the dosage reaches more than 0.20%, the working performance and pumping performance of concrete are improved to a very excellent level. Therefore, the recommended optimal dosage is 0.12-0.24%; when configuring high-grade, large-volume fly ash/slag powder concrete and concrete with special requirements, the dosage can be increased to more than 0.3%, but generally should not exceed 0.5%. Experiments show that when the dosage is increased to 0.5%, the concrete does not produce cohesion and aggregate paste separation (segregation) phenomenon, and the water reduction rate still increases, but the air content increases, the setting is delayed, and the strength decreases.

Packaging and storage


Double-layer plastic woven bag, lined with film bag, 25KG/bag, powder is easy to absorb moisture, should be stored in the sealed original bag and placed in a dry place, the temperature should not exceed 40℃, and do not stack too high. Handle with care to prevent damage during transportation. The product has a shelf life of 1 year; please seal the original packaging in time after unpacking, and it should be put into use within 60 days to prevent moisture and agglomeration from affecting normal use.
