JIANKAI® JK-PCE-HSR Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer PCE 50% for High slump retaining type is a new generation of slow releasing and slump retaining mother liquor made from TPEG by free radical polymerization, and a new sustained-release group is introduced into the synthesis. Under the alkaline condition of concrete, the slow-releasing group in the molecular structure of this product can slowly release the group with dispersive function, playing the role of continuing to disperse the cement, so as to achieve the role of inhibiting the concrete slump loss.
Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer Slump Retention Type has a low water reduction rate, but it has very high slump protection performance. It is mainly used in high-strength concrete with higher requirements for slump protection performance, and its products are widely used in pumping concrete, super-flow self-compacting and high-strength high-performance concrete and commercial concrete for high-speed railway, expressway, hydro-power and other large engineering projects.
Working princinples of Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer Slump Retention
The molecular structure of polycarboxylate superplasticizer slump retention agent contains hydrophilic groups, such as ether bonds, hydroxyl groups, carboxyl groups and ester groups. These groups have good binding ability with cement particles, enabling the water-retaining agent to rapidly adsorb on the surface of the cement particles. By introducing these hydrophilic groups into the main chain of the molecule, the polycarboxylate superplasticizer slump retention agent can form a stable dispersion system on the surface of the cement particles, thereby prolonging the dispersion time of the cement particles and improving the water-retaining performance.
