The negatively charged particles repel each other (electrostatic stabilization), while the polymer's branched structure creates steric hindrance, preventing flocculation. This dual mechanism ensures homogeneous dispersion and reduced viscosity.

1. Construction Industry: Suitable for various cast-in-place and precast (without curing process) concrete, reinforced concrete and prestressed concrete; ordinary strength concrete.
   Suitable for large-scale slab construction, sliding formwork construction, and concrete construction with daily minimum temperature above 5℃. While maintaining the fluidity unchanged, they can reduce the water consumption. The general water reduction rate is below 10%. At the same time, they significantly improve the performance of concrete, such as workability. With mild or moderate retardation, the concrete can delay its setting by 1-4 hours. Therefore, they should be used with caution in the production of concrete products using steam curing technology. Because they can reduce water consumption, the use of ordinary water-reducing agents can make the strength of the concrete at all ages higher than that of the control concrete without admixtures. The 28-day strength can be increased by 5-10%. When only the original design strength of the concrete is required, 10% or more of cement can be saved. The use of ordinary water-reducing agents significantly enhances the impermeability, frost resistance and corrosion resistance of concrete, and does not cause rusting of steel bars, improving the durability of concrete.
