- Methyl Naphthalene Sulfonate can be used with anionic and nonionic surfactants at the same time, but Methyl Naphthalene Sulfonate cannot be mixed with cationic dyes or surfactants;
- Methyl Naphthalene Sulfonate can prevent the dispersion and reduction of dye particles by heat and coagulation. Better than diffused NNO,Methyl Naphthalene Sulfonate is an anionic surfactant.

- Methyl Naphthalene Sulfonate is mainly used as dispersing agent and filler for vat dyes and disperse dyes. It can make the dye more brightly and colorful, increase color force and uniform coloring.It has good abradability,solubiliazation and dispersion.
- Methyl Naphthalene Sulfonate can also be used as stabilizer in rubber industry & auxiliary tanning agent in leather industry.
- Methyl Naphthalene Sulfonate can be dissolved in concrete as a strong water-reducing agent, which can shorten the construction period, save cement, save water and increase the strength of cement.
