What is dispersant MF?
The dispersant MF, with the chemical name Condensed methyl naphthalene sulfonate sodium salt, has the molecular formula C₂₃H₁₈O₆S₂Na₂, and is a condensation product of methylnaphthalene sulfonic acid sodium and formaldehyde. From the appearance, it is brown powder. It has the characteristics of being soluble in water and prone to absorbing moisture.
Its core advantages lie in its outstanding dispersing performance and excellent thermal stability. Even at a high temperature of 130℃, it can still maintain a dispersion effect of 4-5 levels. As an anionic surfactant, dispersant MF is resistant to acids, alkalis, hard water and inorganic salts, has no affinity for cotton and linen fibers, but has good affinity for proteins and polyamide fibers.
